Tom Vodopivec is the founding partner and CEO of the startup accelerator Reveris. He is a passionate startup consultant, mentor, entrepreneur, all-round manager, developer, analyst. In domains of software, tech, video games, data science, machine learning. He holds a PhD in artificial intelligence in games from the Faculty of Computer and Information Sciences, University of Ljubljana. As a researcher, he has toured the UK and the Netherlands, and in Ljubljana, as an undergraduate and postgraduate assistant, he has received three awards for the best assistant of the year, chosen by the students.

He further enriched his experience at the renowned company Celtra, which develops technology for the advertising industry, where he was employed as a senior data scientist. In the following years, he built and took over the management of the Data Insights department, whose goal is to improve business decision-making in the company.

In 2021, he launched his own company, Reveris startup accelerator, whose mission is to develop startups in the domains of software, tech, and the video game industry. In his first year of consulting & mentoring activity he talked with more than 200 teams, worked with 15 of them, secured financing for 8 of them, made strong partnerships with Fil Rouge Capital, Business Angels of Slovenia, BIRD incubator, and a number of regional hubs, incubators, and VC funds across CEE.

Tom helps driven founders to successfully develop their products and obtain their first customers and financial resources. He actively mentors various startups such as Optiguest, Wise up, and ELISA.
